Before you apply
A few things we look for.
This is not the full list — it's the floor. Our team will walk you through the rest on the call.
- A dedicated, child-safe space — minimum 120 m², with secure entry and a separate quiet/nap room.
- Safe outdoor or shaded play area accessible daily.
- Operator commitment to our caregiver-to-child ratios: 1:3 infants, 1:5 toddlers, 1:8 preschool.
- All staff background-checked and trained (or willing to complete) Maisha Mothers' early childhood programme.
- Compliance with local licensing for early childhood / day care operations.
- Willingness to adopt our daily parent-update standard and incident reporting protocols.
- Founder/operator interview and an in-person site visit before any agreement.
We review every application personally. Most conversations take 2–3 weeks before a site visit is scheduled.
